Kentucky fanatics are anxiously looking forward to extra news about Liam Coen. Will the Wildcats’ offensive coordinator really stick around for some other year, or is he one-and-carried out again? You probably will not be getting a solution to that query every time soon.
We first found out about Coen’s hobby by returning to the NFL Friday night. CBS NFL Insider Jonathan Jones pronounced the Bears deliberate to interview Kentucky’s 38-year-old vintage playcaller. Since then, there haven’t been tons from the Chicago camp.

They take their time to locate “the proper guy.” Right now, we’ve entered a conserving pattern and could likely remain there for any other week or longer.
Coen was not officially hired by the Rams until February 21. That is excessive. It happened so late due to the fact that the Rams played in the Super Bowl and the preceding OC did no longer go away until past due either. Even the most expeditious NFL training searches don’t get completed until the end of the month. Bill Belichick knew he was getting Bill O’Brien, and the addition changed into something not announced until January 26.
Unless Liam Coen decides to nip this in the bud and make a statement that he’s closing at Kentucky in 2024 via hell or excessive water, the Big Blue Nation needs to remain patient for offensive coordinator news as the NFL education seek wheels slowly pass through the month of January and into February.
Are Coen and Stoops clearly on the same page?
Speaking for the first time to the Kentucky Sports Radio target market for the reason that information at first broke, Matt Jones shared the brand new attitude Tuesday morning.
